Den was a large scale walk through installation at the Merwin Gallery at Illinois Wesleyan University. The installation simulated the valves and rooms of the heart, with flowing air breathing in rhythm to lights and sound
Den audio walk through
Laura Kennedy from WGLT.org NPR from Illinois State University interviewed me while walking through Den at the Merwin Gallery. I turned the 2000 square foot gallery into a cave like tent using boat shrink wrap and a heat gun. The plastic was donated by Dr. Shrink and after the exhibit went to a local recycling company.
